Privacy Policy

GPACal ("we", "our", "us") operates the website located at this domain. We provide free online calculators for students to compute GPA, CGPA, grades, and related academic metrics. We are committed to handling any information we receive with transparency and care.

GPACal calculators run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your grades, credit hours, subject names, and calculation results are never sent to our servers. We have no access to your academic data, and we neither store it nor share it with third parties. You can verify this by inspecting the network traffic on any calculator page — you will see zero data transmission related to your inputs.

When you visit GPACal, our web server may log standard technical data including: your approximate geographic region (country level), the type of browser and device you use, pages you visit on our site, and the timestamp of your visit. This information is collected in aggregate form and is used solely to understand how our platform is used so we can improve it. It is not linked to any individual identity.

If you choose to submit a message through our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, and the message content. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to mailing lists without explicit consent, and we do not sell or share contact form data with any third party.

GPACal uses minimal cookies necessary for the site to function correctly, such as session cookies that expire when you close your browser. We may use advertising cookies from Google AdSense to deliver personalized advertisements based on your interests. We also use analytics tools to understand how our platform is used. If you prefer not to receive personalized ads, you can visit Google's Ads Settings to manage your preferences.

GPACal uses Google Fonts to display the Inter typeface. When your browser loads our site, it may connect to Google's servers to retrieve the font file. Google's privacy policy governs that connection. We use the Lucide icon library, which is loaded from a CDN. We may use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on our site. Google AdSense uses cookies and collects information about your browsing activity to show you relevant ads. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at Google's Privacy Policy. No personal academic data (grades, courses, or calculations) is shared with advertising partners.

GPACal is intended for use by high school, university, and college students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal data through our contact form, please contact us immediately and we will delete that information without delay.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data in our possession. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use our calculators knowing that no academic data you input is ever transmitted to or stored by us.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (limited to contact form submissions). To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details on our Contact page. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of GPACal after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, please reach out to us via the Contact page on this website. We are happy to clarify anything.
